Zedd has announced one of the most unexpected and ambitious projects of his career: a full redesign of a Universal Studios Japan attraction built around his own music. The GRAMMY-winning producer revealed that the iconic Space Fantasy – The Ride has been reimagined into “Space Fantasy – The Ride: CLUB ZEDD REMIX,” opening to the public on January 30, 2026.
The announcement, shared via Zedd’s official social media, highlights a year-long collaboration with Universal Studios Japan to transform the indoor roller coaster into a new “space-club experience.” According to Zedd, the goal was to turn the ride into a fully musical journey, where sound drives the motion and atmosphere.
“For the past year, we’ve been reimagining the Space Fantasy roller coaster into CLUB ZEDD,” he wrote. “My goal was to make the music drive the ride itself, guiding you through every rise and drop — including an exclusive DJ mix I created just for the queue.”
The attraction blends electronic production, futuristic club aesthetics and kinetic ride dynamics, positioning it as one of the park’s most immersive updates. Early promotional visuals show neon-infused signage, club-inspired lighting design and a rebranded aesthetic rooted in Zedd’s signature blend of festival energy and melodic futurism.
Universal Studios Japan refers to the revamped ride as a multisensory reimagining of one of its long-running attractions, now infused with contemporary electronic culture. With Zedd actively involved in sound design, queue music and thematic direction, the project marks a rare crossover between a global dance artist and a major theme park.
“Space Fantasy – The Ride: CLUB ZEDD REMIX” is expected to draw both theme-park enthusiasts and electronic music fans, making it one of Universal Studios Japan’s most anticipated openings of 2026.
